Alcohol inks are inks that almost act like watercolors, but they are more versatile. They must be used on non-porous surfaces, such as tiles or specialized papers. They dry very quickly due to being alcohol based. You’ve got to see it to believe how the colors interact with each other to create that tell-tale look of alcohol inks. You can do abstract patterns or actually paint a landscape or flowers or whatever your imagination can conceive. The tiles can be made into coasters if you apply a special coating. You can seal them and display them either by using little easel stands or hanging them on the wall. These are great for your home  and the make great gifts. Inks done on paper are sealed and then look gorgeous matted and framed.
